Why Does My Key Fob Battery Keep Dying. The new key fobs constantly beacon the vehicle when they are near or in the vehicle to say hi im here and which door sensor its near. One of the major causes of replacement is that the battery wears out and is not replaced in a relative quick time.
1 day later brand new Energizer battery. Good Afternoon everyone I have a confusing issue the battery in both of my Key Fobs has had to be replaced twice now in Two months Thats a lot of twos. It is all related to the fob the sensors etc.
So I inserted the key fob in the Intelligent Key port.
Seen a few that have had some crud built up on the contacts not letting it work making it seem as if the batteries are dead. Your battery in the car is most likely dead. I have a key that I use daily and a key that is the spare that does not get alot of use but both batteries need to be replaced told to do so. I know the Intelligent Key port doesnt recharge a dead battery.
